I love creating cakes for special occasions! This was my very first experiment with fondant. I make my own marshmallow fondant because I think it tastes so much better and it's definitely CHEAPER. I do not like how the fondant sticks to my fingers so I think I used WAY too much shortening on this cake, that's why it's so shiny. Still, it turned out pretty cute considering my experimental technology. Also, I am super lazy so I make all of my fondant in the KitchenAid mixer.
